PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home management system capable of also displaying, on a display device, the power consumption of a power-consuming device such as a newly installed home electrical apparatus.SOLUTION: A home management system 1 includes a display device 40 that is connected, via a communication network 3, to power-consuming apparatuses 10a-10f, 11a-11c and 14 consuming power supplied from a solar power generator 30 and a system power source 50 and controls the power-consuming apparatuses 10a-10f, 11a-11c and 14. In the system, the display device 40 displays the power consumption of the power-consuming apparatuses 10a-10f, 11a-11c and 14 and the power of the solar power generator 30 and that of the system power source 50 by software, and, in the case of power-consuming apparatuses 15b, 16 and 17 being added, uses updating software to update software enabling display of the power consumption of the power-consuming apparatuses 10a-10f, 11a-11c, 14, 15b, 16, and 17. |
