PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide luminescent material used in a light-emitting layer, a new organic compound able to be used as host material dispersing the luminescent material, a light-emitting element including the organic compound, and also a light-emitting device, an electronic apparatus, and a lighting device including the light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes an EL layer between a pair of electrodes, the EL layer includes a first compound and a second compound, the first compound is a phosphorescent iridium metal complex with its LUMO level being -3.5 eV or more and -2.5 eV or less, and the second compound is an organic compound including a pyrimidine skeleton. In addition, another light-emitting element includes an EL layer between a pair of electrodes, the EL layer includes a first compound and a second compound, the first compound is a phosphorescent iridium metal complex including a diazine skeleton, and the second compound is an organic compound including a pyrimidine skeleton. |
