PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting in which increase of manufacturing cost can be suppressed and warping deformation or the like of components caused by a fire or the like can be prevented satisfactorily.SOLUTION: In a fitting, sashes 20, 30 can be moved for opening/closing in an opening frame 10. The fitting comprises an engaging mechanism 50 which is provided between meeting stile members 24, 34 for closing an opening of the opening frame 10 by the sashes 20, 30. The engaging mechanism 50 includes: a magnet member 51 which is disposed in the outer meeting stile member 24; a lock member 52 which is brought into a regulated attitude by being attracted by the magnet member 51 in an ordinary state but is brought into a locked attitude when a magnetic force of the magnet member 51 is reduced by heating; and a notched part 53 which is formed in the inner meeting stile member 34, unlocked from the lock member 52 in the regulated attitude and locked with the lock member 52 in the locked attitude, on the other hand, in the state where the opening is closed by the sashes 20, 30. By bringing the lock member 52 and the notched part 53 into the locked state, the meeting stile members 24, 34 are engaged with each other. |
