A device that separates and recovers CO2 from a CO2 absorption liquid having CO2 absorbed therein, comprising: a regeneration tower that heats absorption liquid having CO2 absorbed therein, separates and removes CO2 from this absorption liquid, discharges CO2 gas, and regenerates the absorption liquid; a compressor that compresses the CO2 gas discharged from the regeneration tower; and a heat exchanger that guides into the regeneration tower some of the CO2 compressed by the compressor, and heats the absorption liquid inside the regeneration tower by exchanging heat with the compressed CO2.
