An apparatus for forming an alignment film is provided to coat the alignment film on an upper substrate or a lower substrate of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel uniformly and to reduce error ratio of LCD by preventing alignment layer from being expanded. An apparatus for forming an alignment film comprises a moving pipe(141) for supplying an aligning liquid, a plurality of nozzles(142) for jetting the supplied aligning liquid, a gantry(143) for connecting the nozzles, and a stage(130) for loading a mother substrate having a plurality of LCD panels. The moving pipe, the nozzles, and the gantry constitute an alignment liquid supply unit. A cooling line(171) is disposed around an outer part of a temperature control area(131). A heating line is disposed throughout the temperature control area within the cooling line. A heating unit(160) and a cooling unit(170) for respectively controlling the temperatures of the heating line and the cooling line are controlled by one control unit. |
