PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimal printing in accordance with an attaching mode of a label and an issuing mode thereof by using common product information without resetting product information for each label issuance device.SOLUTION: A label issuance device 40 feeds out a roll-form label sheet, prints product information on the label sheet by a printing part on the basis of a predetermined print format, and issues a label. The label issuance device includes: a product information storage part for storing identification information and product information of a product in association with each other; a special-character string storage part for storing a special character string corresponding to a label issuing mode in issuing a label to be attached to the product after issuing the label to be attached to the product; an input part for inputting the identification information; and a control part for controlling the printing part. When the identification information is input from the input part, the control part causes the printing part to print product information corresponding to the identification information, including a special character string, on the label sheet only in the case of a label issuance mode that is to issue a label to be attached to the product, after the label to be attached is issued. |
