PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery having an excellent cycle characteristic and a high capacity.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery includes a negative electrode active material that is expanded by 5 to 15 cmwith charging of 1 Fd, a positive electrode active material that is contracted by 5 to 15 cmwith the charging of 1 Fd, and solid electrolyte.
