Provided is a heat storage material composition that contains sodium acetate, water, and at least one type of organic compound selected from ethanol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and acetic acid, wherein the water content is 72.4 to 100 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by weight of the sodium acetate. Further provided is an auxiliary heat source that uses the heat storage material composition, and a heat supply method.
