<p>The present invention eliminates dew condensation in a space between a protection plate, touch panel or the like, and the display surface of a display section, and prevents a foreign material from entering from the outside to the space between the protection plate, touch panel or the like, and the display surface of the display section. A display apparatus (1000) is provided with a display section (1), a protection plate (3), and a seal material (2). The display section (1) has a display surface (11) for displaying data. The protection plate (3) is disposed to cover the display surface (11).
