The filter element (12) consists of a filter material, which partially consists of a mineral absorber. The filter material is present in layers in the filter element. The two layers of the filter material are different from each other. The mineral absorber partially represents a sheet silicate. The mineral absorber represents smectite containing clay, bentonite or halloysite. The filter material represents a mixture of mineral absorber and active carbon. An independent claim is included for a fume hood device with an air conditioning device.
