The present invention relates to a method and a device for manufacturing artificial wood by using an artificial wood composition. The purpose of the present invention is to manufacture artificial wood which is eco-friendly and has competitive price by using synthetic resin materials and a coconut polymer. The present invention includes a preparation step (a) preparing coconut powder and synthetic resin powder; a mixing step (b) mixing the prepared coconut powder, the synthetic resin powder, and at least one additive selected from a group composed of pigments and a foaming agent according to the rigidity, foaming specific gravity, purposes, and properties of each products desired to manufacture; a transferring step (c) of transferring the mixed powder to an extruding-melting device; a melting and forming step (d) melting the transferred mixed powder by heating, forming the molten powder into a formed article having a desired shape via a mold of the extruding-melting device and forming artificial wood by inserting a reinforcing material from the rear side of the mold; a sizing step (e) shrinking-reducing the formed artificial wood via a vacuum sizing device; and a cooling/taking-out and cutting step (f) cooling, taking the shrunken and reduced artificial wood and automatically cutting the same at a desired length. The present invention can reduce production costs by recycling waste resources and can manufacture eco-friendly artificial wood having excellent shearing strength and the excellent production efficiency.
