<p>The label (1) has a first tab portion (12) connecting second and third tab portions (10, 11) and orthogonally running to the two tab portions. A section or a slot (14) is arranged in a transition region (13) between the second and third tab portions and the first tab portion. The section or the slot passes an edge strip (6) from a separation point (5) i.e. punching, in a direction to an idle edge (15) of the edge strip turned away from the separation point and/or opens into the separation point.
