PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a state of charge SOC of an onboard battery, even if receiving of a radio signal from a vehicle is difficult in a portable device. SOLUTION: Count down of remaining charging time is carried out through a timer 21b prepared in an electronic key 20. The SOC is informed by the remaining charging time being displayed. Therefore, a user can know the SOC through a display part 29 even while the electronic key 20 carried by the user cannot receive a radio signal (correction signal S2 in this case) about the SOC from the vehicle 10.
