The present invention relates to a structure of a press type metal pipe joint (1) used for a mechanical connection method for connecting soft thin-wall metal pipes such as a stainless steel pipe (KS.D3595) for a normal pipe, a copper pipe, a soft steel pipe and an aluminum pipe. A press type metal pipe joint (1) of the present invention consists of a metal pipe joint body (2) formed by expanding and forming a metal pipe, and a packing ring (6) of an elastic body. The structure of the press type metal pipe joint is formed by making a connection unit, which is interconnected with an insertion pipe (9) inside a pipe joint body (2), integrated with a shaft diameter unit (7) by using: a fixing-inserting unit (8) in which the insertion pipe (9) is slid to be inserted from the axis-directional inside, in which the front end of the insertion pipe (9) is placed, by making the outer circumferential surface of the insertion pipe (9) come in contact with the inner circumferential surface thereof; a packing ring groove (5) which has a ring shape and which has a packing ring (6) of the elastic body mounted thereon; the shaft diameter unit (7) having the inner circumferential surface maintaining a fixed distance from the outer circumferential surface of the insertion pipe (9); and a fastening ring unit (4) which has a circular ring shape and which is formed by bending a circumference at a fixed length from the outer end of the connection unit (3) inwardly toward the center of the circumference. |
