A blade dispenser 100 comprising a blade supply container, the blade supply container being constructed to receive a blade stack (111 figure 3) composed of multiple mutually abutting blades 115 and having a removal opening 116 through which at least one blade 115 of the stack is removable. A blade disposal container 120 serving to receive blades (121 figure 3) to be disposed of. A detachable connecting means 130, 131, 132 is also included for detachably connecting the containers together. The connecting means may comprise a sliding closure, preferably a dove-tail guide or a snap-in closure. The supply container may comprise an empty indicator (113a figure 3). Preferably the blade stack is maintained at an angle different to 90Ë by a support block (113 figure 3) which is acted upon by a spring means (114 figure 3) such as a leaf spring. |
