PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can make the outward appearance of an instrument satisfactory, while ensuring a display area. SOLUTION: A display 2, having a plurality of display portions, is fixed to a case 1 which opens in the front, and a front cover 3 which has a see-through portion 31, allowing one to see through each of the display portions 2a-2c and an edge portion 32 rimming the see-through portion 31 as a plurality of display areas 3a-3c, corresponding to the individual display portions 2a-2c, is provided on the opening side of the case 1. A decorative member 4, covering the front surface of the edge portion 32, is provided for the front cover 3 and the end portion 41 of the decorative member 4 is covered with a hiding portion 32a formed on the edge portion 32, in the direction of intersecting the sighting direction. In the display device thus constituted, a lacking portion 32b, where the hiding portion 32a is not formed is formed in the area on the see-through portion 31 positioned between adjacent ones of the display areas 3a-3c, and a recessed portion 33, which holds the end portion 41 of the decorative member 4, is provided at the location of the see-through portion 31 corresponding to the lacking portion 32b.
