PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calibrate a tension sensor of a film without removing the film from a roll on a film conveyance device. SOLUTION: An unwinding roll and a winding roll are locked, and an output voltage of the tension sensor at a rotation angle of a driving roll arranged between the rolls and an output voltage of the tension sensor at a rotation angle after fine angle rotation of the driving roll are recorded. An approximate expression showing a relation between each output voltage and the rotation angle of the driving roll is determined based on each recorded output voltage corresponding to each rotation angle, and a rotation angle of the driving roll when the output voltage of the tension sensor becomes zero is calculated from the approximate expression, and a film tension at the recorded rotation angle is calculated based on the rotation angle. Then, a relational expression of the film tension to the output voltage is calculated from the film tension and the output voltage of the tension sensor at the rotation angle, and a voltage value of the tension sensor corresponding to a desired tension is calculated from the relational expression.
