The housing (30) has a mounting wall (40) by which the ring housing is attached at a first side of the housing. Three apertures are formed at a brush carrier space (50), a connection space (60) and a module space (70) at second, third and fourth sides of the housing. Brush carriers (20) are accessible through the carrier space. An electrical connection is accessible through the connection space. A slip ring module (10) is arranged at the module space. A fastening unit fastens a brush carrier (20). One of the apertures is locked with a cover (61). An independent claim is also included for a slip ring assembly.
