A method of manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent destruction of a product panel seal and a gap stain even though liquid crystal is expanded or a sealant is softened according to a main baking process. A method of manufacturing an LCD includes a step of forming a ring-shaped product panel seal(1) for defining a liquid crystal filling region(3) and an outer seal(2) for sealing up an array substrate and a color filter substrate on one of the two substrates, a step of dispensing liquid crystal to the liquid crystal filling region surrounded by the product panel seal, a step of bonding the two substrates to each other, a step of pre-baking the product panel seal and the outer seal, and main-baking the pre-baked product panel seal and outer seal. The air is introduced into the outer seal at a rate of filling the air in the outside of the product panel seal during a period from the time when the pre-baking is finished to the time when the main baking starts. |
