The present invention has a purpose of guaranteeing tube expansion qualities by accurately identifying work conditions upon tube expansion and conducting an optimum tube expansion operation with a high reliability. The solution means is a tube expansion apparatus (1) comprising a driving apparatus to drive a mounted tube expander (100) for rotation by a servo motor (25) and a controller (3) to control motion of the driving apparatus, to conduct tube expansion operation by inserting a tube expander (100) in a tube (T); wherein the controller (3) is provided with a torque computing means (5) to compute torques from electric current values flowing in the servo motor (25) and a display means (6) to display a tube expansion torque during tube expansion and a preset target torque showing completion of tube expansion, and displays tube expansion torques (P) in a graph of time axis with overlapped display of a target torque level (64c1).
