The present invention relates to method and terminal for providing green information, using image matching, more specifically to method and terminal for providing green information, using image matching which produces green information by 3D-imaging the raw green image and then shows the green information from golf ball to hall cup by image-matching the actual green image taken by a golfer with the image by the green information. The method for providing the green information comprises the steps of: photographing the raw green by using a camera; obtaining the green information by 3D-imaging the raw green image with image-based modeling; photographing the actual green between the golf ball and hole cup by using the camera (this step is performed by the golfer); producing location information of the golf ball and hole cup by confirming the golf ball and hole cup from the actual green image; comparing and matching the actual and 3D green information images; and showing the 3D green image from the golf ball to hole cup on a display part.
