The present invention relates to an image printing method and a printing sheet manufactured by the image printing method and more specifically, to an image printing method and a printing sheet capable of obtaining an output in which an image is printed by printing using ultraviolet rays after gravure printing on a base made of a paper material and attaching a film to the upper part of the gravure printed base. The present invention comprises a film preparing step for preparing the film attached to a paper base; a color forming step for forming a color on the paper base by using a gravure printing method; a film attaching step for attaching the back side of the film to the surface of the paper base; and a ultraviolet printing step for printing the image on the front surface of the film by using ultraviolet hardening ink.
