The present invention is to provide a method for producing a polyethylene-based resin foam sheet having a low apparent density and a small thickness, and more particularly, a method for producing an excellent polyethylene-based resin foam sheet by suppressing the tearing or punching of the foam sheet. According to the present invention, the polyethylene-based resin foam sheet is produced through the extrusion-foaming of an expandable melted resin, which is obtained by kneading a base resin containing a polyethylene-based resin as a main ingredient, a physical foaming agent, and a bubble adjuster. Here, the polyethylene-based resin foam sheet has an apparent density of 10-450 kg/m^3 and an average thickness of 2 mm or less. As the bubble adjuster, a chemical foaming agent having an average particle size of 3-8μm is used. |
