PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument capable of precisely categorizing and counting myeloblasts without being affected by other components in a sample including platelet aggregation in a measurement of a blood sample by a flow cytometry. SOLUTION: This hematological sample measuring instrument inflicts damage on cell membranes of erythrocyte and mature leukocyte contained in a hematological sample to contract the erythrocyte whose cell membrane is damaged; measures, by the flow cytometry, the sample that is dyed with fluorescent dye capable of dying nucleic acid; and counts, as the myeloblasts, the cells that are contained in a first cell group including the myeloblasts, which is specified based on forward-scattered light information and laterally-scattered light information, and that are contained in a second cell group including the myeloblasts, which is specified based on the forward-scattered light information and fluorescent information.
