The present invention provides a ball bearing unit comprising: an inner ring coupled to the outer surface of a shaft; an outer ring installed in the outside of the inner ring and having an assembly groove formed along the inner surface of both ends thereof; and a sealing member. The sealing member comprises: a shield having the top part bent outward into the shape of the assembly groove of the outer ring to be fitted in the assembly groove of the outer ring, and the bottom part installed not in contact with the outer surface of the inner ring; and a seal which is formed of multiple ribs attached to the inner surface of the shield and which has the bottom part coming in contact with the outer surface of the inner ring. Also, the ball bearing unit has overlapped parts arranged in the bottom part of the shield and the outer surface of the inner ring to prevent the inflow of foreign materials. According to the present invention, the ball bearing unit can effectively block the foreign materials from entering into a gap between the outer ring and the shield because the overlapped part between the outer ring and the shield is formed by inserting the top part of the shield in the assembly groove of the outer ring, and can effectively block the foreign materials from entering into a gap between the inner ring and the shield by forming the overlapped part between the bottom part of the shield and the inner ring. |
