The present invention relates to a brake system of a vehicle and more specifically, to an auto brake device using a motor and a driving method for the same which allow a brake pedal to be automatically operated by controlling the rotation of a motor under the parking situation by determining the stopping and parking situations of the vehicle. The present invention improves driver convenience by automatically driving a brake when drivers park or stop the vehicles considering the parking and stopping situations; is easily installed near the brake pedal; and can be installed in existing vehicles with low costs. The present invention automatically operates a parking brake when drivers forget to put on the parking brake so that accidents occurring when the parking brake is not operated are prevented.
