POWER SAVING MAGNETIC CONTACTOR

The present invention relates to a power saving type electromagnetic contactor. The power saving type electromagnetic contactor includes: a power input unit which applies power corresponding to an on or off signal from the outside; a first solenoid in which a coil is connected to the power input unit; a valve which is connected serially between the coil of the first solenoid and the power input unit; a first plunger which is arranged in the center of the first solenoid and operates by the magnetic field induction of the first solenoid; an opening and closing switch is comprised of a fixed contactor which is installed and fixated on a housing and a movable contactor which is installed and fixated on the lateral side of the first plunger and operates depending on the operation of the first plunger; a second solenoid; a second plunger which is arranged in the center of the second solenoid and controls the operation of the valve by being operated by the induction magnetic field of the second solenoid; and an off-circuit part which is connected to the power input unit and controls power which is applied in the second solenoid. The power saving type electromagnetic contactor according to the present invention is able to minimize waiting power consumption by preventing power from being delivered to the first solenoid because the first plunger turns off the valve while turning on the opening and closing switch if power is applied in the power input unit.
