<p>The spring (1) has a metal thread (5) whose electrical resistance is changed in dependence on the deformation of the spring. The metal threads are arranged in the inside of spring or integrated at the outer side of the spring. The ends of the metal threads at the ends of the spring are led out to enable a contact. The spring is made of composite material such as glass-fiber reinforced plastic or carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The spring is designed as a helical spring, spiral spring, leaf spring, cup spring or torsion bar spring. An independent claim is included for motor car.</p> |
