Method for regulating HF signals in an NMR system and NMR system for performing the method

The method involves transmitting high frequency (HF) signals on measuring frequencies, and tuning a HF-oscillating circuit (1) of a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) probe head to a resonance frequency. A HF coil (Le) of the circuit is used to receive NMR signals. Duration, phase and/or power of the HF signals are controlled by a control loop. Measurement of a parameter is performed by the head to determine current in or voltage across one of HF components (Be, Bk). The transmission powers (PS), the phases or the duration of the HF signals are regulated based on the measured parameter. An independent claim is also included for a nuclear magnetic resonance system comprising a probe head for regulating high frequency signals.
