The present invention relates to a RF coil of the birdcage type and a magnetic resonance imaging device for the dental clinic including the same. To acquire an image of a teeth part by a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method, the RF coil of the birdcage type is characterized by being constituted in the height of covering between the nose and the lower jaw of a person being inspected while maintaining the closest distance with the face of a part between the nose and the lower jaw of the person being inspected, and forming a nose interference preventing groove in the upper part of the middle in which the nose of the person being inspected is positioned. The magnetic resonance imaging device for the dental clinic including the RF coil comprises an inspection equipment body; an inspection case which is connected to one side of the inspection equipment body and has the upper part opened by an opening and closing cover; a raising means which raises and lowers the inspection case; a cylindrical superconducting magnet which is installed in the inspection case to supply a magnetic field to a head part of the person being inspected; the RF coil which is installed to be adjacent to the teeth part of the person being inspected in the middle of the cylindrical superconducting magnet; and a chair which is installed in the inspection equipment body of the lower part of the cylindrical superconducting magnet so that the person being inspected can have a seat, thereby stably acquiring a good quality MRI in the comfortable atmosphere. |
