<p>The invention relates to a vegetable processing roll, having its surface provided with vegetable treatment zones, and said processing roll being rotatable relative to its axis of rotation. A treatment zone (2, 3, 4, 11 a, 11 b, 11f, 11h, 11u) according to the invention has been stripped of some roll surface material and/or the surface has been supplemented with substantially non-removable surface material in an integrally bonded manner. The invention relates also to a vegetable processing device, as well as to a method for manufacturing and operating the processing roll and the processing device.</p> |
