<p>A method is described for managing communication alerts on multiple remote devices that are associated with a common user and in contemporaneous communication with a server on a communication network. The method can include designating on the server one of the plurality of remote devices as being in an active state, and sending a communication from the server to the remote devices. Only the remote device designated as in the active state displays an alert announcing the incoming communication.</p> |
