Thiadiazolyl-ureas, herbicides. Compounds of formula where R1 = H, 1-3C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 = R1 or 1-3C alkoxy; R3 = H or 1-3C alkyl; R4 = H, 1-6C alkyl; or alkenyl or 3-6C cycloalkyl; R5 = R4 or 1-6C alkoxy; or R4 and R5 may be R6CO where R6 = H, 1-6C alkyl or 3-6C cycloalkyl, and when one of R4 and R5 is R6CO the other can be Li, K or Na) e.g. 1-(5-sulphamoyl 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl) urea or 1-(5-(dicyclopropylsulphamoyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl -3-methyl urea are useful herbicides. |
