The present invention relates to a support structure for a lead wire of an anti-overheating sensor for a gas range. The anti-overheating sensor for the gas range comprises a support bracket (10) which is fixed in a casing (5) and separately placed from the bottom of the casing (5) at the upper part with a passage hole (11) at one end; a lifting unit (20) which is placed in the center core of a burner (7) installed in the support bracket (10) to move up and down; the lead wire (30) that one end is connected to the lifting unit (20) and the other end is extended down to pass through the passage hole (11); a support unit (41) which supports the lead wire (30) passing through the passage hole (11) of the support bracket (10) in order that the lead wire is not in contact with the bottom of the casing (5); and a fixing unit (42) which is connected to the lower part of the support unit (41) to be fixed to the bottom of the casing (5). Basically, the invention prevents thermal damage to the lead wire due to high temperature heat from the bottom of the casing so that the service life is extended with reducing cost. Also, the invention prevents the lead wire from sticking due to pollutants or foreign materials on the bottom of the casing to avoid a malfunction of a sensor in advance with providing safety of a sensing function.
