A driving device of a display apparatus is provided to execute an impulsive operation for every pixel by displaying black gray scales using difference between image signals of adjacent two frames. A driving device of a display apparatus includes a signal processing unit, plural frame memories, a beam source unit, and a data driver(500). The signal processing unit receives image signals for every first frame unit having a first frame frequency. The beam source unit includes plural beam sources(RL,GL,BL) that supply lights to plural pixels. The data driver selects a gray scale voltage corresponding to an output image signal and applies the selected gray scale voltage as a data voltage to the pixels. The signal processing unit sequentially stores the image signals in the frame memories, reads out the image signals from two memories, which are different from each other, among the plural frame memories for every second frame unit having a second frame frequency, selects an image signal from one of the two memories, and delivers the selected image signal as the output image signal to the data driver. |
