摘要 A control method, and a disc and a hub assembly of an electromagnetic clutch are provided to extend life of a disc and an electronic clutch by varying contact area of a disc adhered on the friction surface of a rotor according to torque requested to activate a compressor. A hub assembly of an electromagnetic clutch comprises a hub(30) combined with a drive shaft of a compressor; a disc(100) adhered or disassembled form a rotor of a pulley; and a stopper plate(50) equipped in either side of the disc and combined with the hub. The disc includes the hub kept inside. The stop plate comprises a bowl part(52) in which a bumper(53) is inserted. The disc comprises an internal disk(110) in which the stopper plate is formed; and an external disc(120) which accommodates the internal disk to be located inside and is connected to the internal disk. The internal disk includes a mounting groove(112) in which a leaf spring(130) is mounted. The mounting groove comprises the stepped step groove(112a) on the outer edge of the internal disk. The leaf spring has the elastic force smaller than attracting magnetic flux generated in a field coil assembly.
