The present invention relates to a method for measuring a residual oxidant in ballast water. The method for measuring a residual oxidant in ballast water comprises: a cuvette washing step; a first cuvette internal sample water emptying step; a cuvette internal turbidity measuring step; a step of putting sample water into the cuvette; a step of measuring a sample water concentration; a second cuvette internal sample water emptying step; a step of putting a DPD reagent and sample water into the cuvette; a step of measuring a DPD reagent concentration and calculating a residual oxidant concentration; a third cuvette internal sample water emptying step; and a step of emptying the sample water after washing the cuvette. By performing the method for measuring a residual oxidant in ballast water, the existing method for measuring a residual oxidant comprising 10 steps can be reduced to four steps and be repeatedly performed so that the time required for measuring a residual oxidant in ballast water can be shortened.
