PURPOSE: A negative electrode active material has excellent electric conductivity by uniformly dispersing high capacity nanoparticle by graphene thereby quickly charging and discharging a battery, increasing the capacity thereof, and obtaining excellent cycle stability. CONSTITUTION: A negative active material for a secondary battery is a composite of a wustite FeO nanoparticle and graphene and contains potassium. A plurality of FeO nanoparticles is distributed on the surface of the graphene surface. A manufacturing method of the negative active material for a secondary battery comprises a step of manufacturing a hematite Fe2O3 nanoparticle-graphene composite; and a step of manufacturing a wustite FeO nanoparticle-graphene composite containing potassium by adding KOH to the Fe2O3 nanoparticle-graphene composite. |
