The mechanism has a minute lever (10) pivotably mounted with respect to a frame element of a timepiece movement. A long spring (15) exerts force on the lever for positioning the lever in a stop position. A column wheel (24) is moved between stable waiting and indication positions. The wheel alternatively passes from one of the positions to another position, in response to successive actions of a user. The wheel opposes the action of the spring in the waiting position. The lever is positioned in its waiting position by the wheel. |
