A color filter substrate and a liquid crystal display apparatus including the same are disclosed. The color filter substrate according to the present invention includes a first black matrix without an opening part and a second black matrix with the opening part on the upper side of a substrate; an auxiliary pattern which is arranged in the opening part; a color filter which covers the first black matrix and the second black matrix and is formed at each pixel; an overcoat layer which is formed on the upper side of the color filter; and a first column spacer which is formed on a region corresponding to the first black matrix; and a second column spacer which is formed on the upper side of the auxiliary pattern on a region corresponding to the second black matrix on the upper side of the overcoat layer.
