The present invention relates to a sampler for collecting the sample of molten metal, wherein the sampler can prevent contamination of the sample of molten metal by the sampler and does not require addition processing for the removal of molten steel after sampling. The sampler includes: a cylinder which comprises a liner unit which is formed in the shape of an open container with open top to accommodate samples and a shell unit which is formed in the shape of an open container with open top and covers the outer surface of the liner unit; and a lid which prevents slag arranged on the top of molten steel from being introduced into the liner unit when the slag is introduced into the molten steel and is separated from the liner unit by air expanded inside the liner unit when the sample of molten steel is collected.
