IMPACT BEAM FOR CAR DOOR

An impact beam for a car door according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a hollow inner layer (C) with laminated carbon fiber prepreg and an outer layer (S) which has aramid fiber prepreg on the inner layer (C). The present invention can reduce the weight of a car and improve fuel efficiency since the hollow inner layer (C) and the outer layer (S) are made of prepreg. Moreover, the present invention can improve impact resistance since the outer layer (S) is made of prepreg including aramid fiber with improved vibration damping characteristics.
