FIELD: personal usage articles.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for preparation of beverages by way of brewing using cartridges. The beverage preparation machine contains a brewing device that contains a guide for a single cartridge introduction, a lever for actuating the piston and a chamber suitable for the cartridge accommodation. The piston is capable of straight line motion in a certain direction and has the first rest position and the second operational position. The guide is positioned between the said first rest position and the said second operational position.
