PURPOSE: An electrical brake with an improved gap control unit is provided to easily control a gap by controlling a cap between an armature and a brake body. CONSTITUTION: An electrical brake (10) with an improved gap control unit comprises a brake body (20), an end plate (30), a rotor (40), an armature (50), and a gap control unit (60). The brake body includes an electronic coil and a braking spring (71). The end plate is arranged on the brake body by being separated at a fixed interval. The rotor is arranged in a space between the brake body and the end plate and rotates by being engaged with a rotary shaft of a motor. The armature is arranged in between the rotor and the brake body and limits or permits the rotation of the rotor according to the flow of a current of a magnet coil. The gap control unit controls the size of a gap between the armature and the brake body when the current does not flow in the magnet coil. |
