The method involves performing predetermined vibration stimulation to a mechanism of a mass flow measuring device which operates according to Coriolis principle, and then detecting associated oscillation response of the stimulated mechanism of the mass flow measuring device. The detected oscillation response is then compared with a predetermined oscillation response.
