The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which can be reset when a system is abnormally operated. The mobile terminal includes a power distribution unit distributing power to an electronic device included in a main body; a power supply unit supplying the power to the power distribution unit; a power measuring unit measuring a current flowing from the power supply unit to the power distribution unit every hour; a power control unit generating a first control signal based on whether the current which the power measuring unit measures is maintained within a predetermined range for a standard time; and a switch unit selectively connecting the power distribution unit and the power supply unit according to the first control signal.
