摘要 FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric measurement equipment and may be used in cable industry for monitoring and repair of enamel insulation of wires. The purpose of the invention - to increase accuracy of monitoring and length of defect areas in wire insulation, and also creation of the possibility of repair of defect areas of enamel insulation of wires by means of application of enamel in place of the detected defect while a wire moves continuously. The proposed method consists in applying high voltage to a corona-forming sensor-electrode, stretching of the controlled wire via the corona-forming sensor-electrode and in formation of defect pulses from the corona-forming sensor-electrode, at the same time additionally a unit of enamel application is installed at the strictly fixed distance D from the corona-forming sensor-electrode. Then, if the defect is available, they generate a pulse of defect length, duration of which Tis equal to the time of defect passage in the zone of action of the corona-forming sensor-electrode. The front edge of the specified pulse is shaped by the first pulse of corona discharge from the defect, and the rear edge of the pulse is shaped with a delay after the last pulse of the corona discharge from the defect for the timewhere t- delay time; l- mean square value of the length of controlled section of the wire from the moment of extinction to the moment of ignition of the corona discharge in zones of its unstable burning when the defect area of insulation approaches the sensor-electrode and exits from it; ? - square mean deviation lfrom the mean value; V - speed of motion of the controlled wire. After formation of the front pulse of the defect after the time t=(D-VT)/V, where T- time from opening of the electromagnetic valve of the enamel application unit to the moment when the enamel jet from the enamel application unit reaches the surface of the defect, the defect pulse is expanded to the value T-T+T. Along the front edge of this pulse the electromagnetic lock is opened at the moment of time tin the enamel application unit, and an electrostatically charged jet of enamel is formed by sending it along the surface of the high-voltage electrode, to which at the moment of time tof opening of the electromagnetic lock they simultaneously supply a high-voltage potential relative to the earthed strand of the wire, the value of which is in the range of 2-5 kV. The generated jet of electrostatically charged liquid enamel is supplied to the defect section within the time T, then along the rear edge of the expanded pulse they disconnect the high-voltage potential from the high-voltage electrode, and the electromagnetic lock in the unit of enamel application is closed. Afterwards they remove excess enamel applied onto the defect area of the enamel insulation, by means of passage of the specified section with the applied liquid enamel via a gauge, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the insulated wire. After excess enamel is removed from the defect area, the defect area with applied liquid enamel is exposed to baking and drying.EFFECT: method to monitor and repair insulation of wires makes it possible, compared to the prototype method, to considerably increase accuracy of monitoring and is able to both monitor and repair defect areas of wire enamel insulation.3 dwg
