A built-up cutter comprises a mandrel, in whose longitudinal bore an intermediate element is pivotally arranged and connected to a rotary head, on which a cutting insert is mounted. On the intermediate element a spherical recess is made which interacts through a ball introduced into the cutter with a corresponding spherical recess formed on the rotary head. The intermediate element is connected to the rotary head with two pairs of spherical bolts located in mutually perpendicular directions in vertical and horizontal planes. On the inner surface of the rotary head bevels are made, which ensure the required angle of rotation of the cutting insert. |
