The invention relates to test engineering, in particular to means for investigation of tribotechnical characteristics of working surfaces, stability of those to contact-fatigue destruction. A device for investigation of contact fatigue of material surface comprises a body, wherein a holder of flat test specimen, roller as a ring of thrust bearing with a race and balls divided by separator, roller rotation drive, assembly for formation of load between the roller and flat specimen and a device for control of the test surface state are installed. Additionally the device includes a supporting axle of the holder of the flat test specimen and drive of vibrational displacement of the holder of the flat test specimen, this is arranged as an eccentric cam mechanism, and the supporting axle of the holder of the flat test specimen is placed normally with respect to the working surface of the flat specimen with displacement from the axis of rotation of the roller by value equal to the radius of rotation of the center of the balls in the roller. The invention makes it possible to record different stages of destruction of the surface, i.e. to study dynamics of fatigue destruction, to determine the mechanism of the process. |
