The present invention relates to a transparent methacrylic composition comprising carbon of renewable origin, and having improved fluidity and improved chemical resistance. In particular, this composition comprises: from 95% to 50% by weight of a methacrylic polymer; from 5% to 50% by weight of a lactic acid homopolymer (PLA), relative to the total weight of the composition. This composition can be used in particular in the packaging, cosmetics, electronics and electrical appliance fields, the motor industry or the construction industry, and meets the requirements of green chemistry in a more general context of sustainable development. The subject matter of the invention is also the use of a lactic acid polymer for increasing the fluidity and the chemical resistance of a methacrylic polymer matrix. |
